First of all I would like to start the review saying that when I decided to came to the school I had no spectations at all. So everything that I found since the first day that I arrived to the school was part of the experience. Although I will mention some details that in my mind can be useful for the direction of the school.

Acommodation:

I really don’t need mutch more things that you offer to me. Only thing that I suggest is pay attention to the masters that was in my room when I arrived(214) and now is in 313. Because is full of bedbugs and it could became a real problem for the rest of the students.

I suggest to put a refrigerator in the common room. It will be appreciated in summer because the liquids and over all the fruits. For sure the students should take care about it (cleaning) and use plastic bags to preserve it in good conditions for everyone.

Training

The training sessions are quite nice designed. Finish with the free training was a nice idea because on Friday, people are tired and is easier if some one said you what you have to do. But practice some sports in group is also a good idea to make that links between students became more stronger.

Probably something useful for many people in the first days of training is that the first days of training is that the master advertise the new students so training soft the first days and day by day go till 100% of them possibilities. Because in my case I never had training so many hours by day before so I’m not realized how hard the training would be. It supposed to me an anovn enjoury for the rest of the stage.

Masters

From the beginning master Du seams to me a really good person to teach the students. Is clear, even speaking Chinese, and his methodology have a perfect balance between humor, professionality and patient. He makes everything easy.

Master Miao has also a lot of knowledge but only one month is a short time to understand how his methodology is. Sometimes he teach you a lot of new things and otherwise he can also spend like 4 or 4 lessons doesn’t talk to you at all. This became in the feeling that you are doing something wrong and do not realize about that.

Just a perception in tai-chi is that is not really clear how the movements should be. Seems that any students has their own style, and many times is difficult identify what is right or wrong.

Group

Everything was OK in my group until the last week that the common training became quite uncomfortable because the relation with the group leader.
His attitude with the first two weeks was quite nice and useful, introducing me to the group and explain me how the training works. But hen, the climate in the group changes little by little until that the atmosphere in the training hall was no good any more.

In the last week we start with a really heavy speech about moral and discipline. For sure any suggestion about techniques is fine, try to motivate the group is OK too but I don’t need that anyone telling me what is important or not in the experience in the school. Any of us has their won rhythm and is free to decided how hard and how far want to train.

Please try to explain the group leaders that they don`t have to have any opinion about how the people decide to traing. In my mind is only a person to help the master and the students

In that way all the people in the group should respect the different levels of the different students. To avoid people upset I suggest to divide the common training( basics) in 2 groups. One for the new people. The group leader could switch from one to the other to explain the new people quietly and the older students could trying harder if they need it.

Program

I will not say nothing about the website because I already know that the new one is coming. Was a pity have on theoretical lessons about budism. About acupuncture was quite complex try to learn something without any kind of structure. I suggest a change, try with some basics concepts of Chinese medicine which is really interesting to understand the rest of the martial arts that was practice, for example Qi Gong. And also learn about nutrition.

Qi Gong Lessons

In my case would be very useful know abut why we do the things that we do in Qi Gong. Why this movements and no others. What this movements offer to me and what is the relationed with the environment. Some details about meditation would be useful too. How to d it and why. I hope this word is became something useful for you in the future. This month was amazing because the kung fu masters, the environment, and the daily life in the school.

Thanks a lot.
